The Houston Rockets are in an interesting spot moving forward as they have a decent young core to build around. Does John Wall fit into the mix anymore as we approach the start of the 2021-22 NBA season?

After selecting Jalen Green with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, the Rockets now have a young team comprised of Kevin Porter Jr., Kenyon Martin Jr., Jae’Sean Tate, Christian Wood, Josh Christopher, and Alperen Sengun.

With Porter expected to become the starting point guard next season, John Wall’s future with the organization is in serious doubt.

Wall was acquired by the Rockets in a trade that sent Russell Westbrook to the Washington Wizards.
