NBA Free Agency started fast and furious. There were a ton of deals agreed to in principle that became official over the weekend as teams and players could finally put pen to paper.

Multiple players signed with new teams, but only three were able to land nine-figure deals. Chris Paul re-signed with the Phoenix Suns on a four-year, $120 million deal, while Jarrett Allen reportedly agreed to a five-year, $100 million deal. John Collins was the biggest winner in free agency, landing the most lucrative deal, a five-year, $125 million deal to remain with the Atlanta Hawks.

Kyle Lowry, who ended up leaving the Toronto Raptors for the Miami Heat in a sign-and-trade deal, landed the most annual money. He will make $30 million per season over the length of his three-year contract.

With most of the biggest names signed, there isn’t much money left to give away in free agency. Most teams have used their cap space and the only way remaining for a team to upgrade their roster is via trade.
