The Sacramento Kings have seen many players in trade rumors over the last year and that begins with a Buddy Hield. There has not been a move made yet this offseason for one could be on the horizon. If Hield is indeed on the trading block, the Detroit Pistons could be an interested team.
Detroit has their future pieces in place. Cade Cunningham was selected with the first pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and this gave Detroit a player to build around moving forward. He joins Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart, who were both named to the all rookie teams this year.
Detroit was one of the worst teams in the league but the future seems bright with their blossoming stars. This is a chance for the Pistons to add some more proven players that will not handcuff them for the future.
It was rumored that the relationship between Hield and the Kings was rocky after he was moved to the bench two years ago. Sacramento is forced to return to healed once Bogdan Bogdanovic went to the Atlanta Hawks.

They did not move them at the trade deadline but that does not mean that any possibility is off the table. He remains the biggest trade piece for the Kings and that is why they could look to move him right away.
