Denver Nuggets
It was a successful season for the Denver Nuggets for the majority of the year, but a season-ending injury to Jamal Murray put a damper on their chances of making a deep push in the playoffs.
Murray isn’t expected to be available to start next season, making it vital for the Nuggets to improve their depth this offseason. So far in free agency, the Nuggets have brought back Will Barton, JaMychal Green, and Austin Rivers, and they have added Jeff Green.
While retaining Barton and luring Green away from the Brooklyn Nets are positive moves, the Nuggets could use a go-to bench scorer in the upcoming season.
Terrence Ross can handle the ball and create for himself/others, but he’s also a capable catch-and-shoot player.

Once Murray returns to the court and is his usual self, the Nuggets would have one of the deepest teams in the NBA if they could acquire Ross from Orlando.
