New Orleans Pelicans
Believe it or not, the Pelicans still have roughly $11M+ left in cap space that they could look to spend on a guy like Reggie Jackson. They did acquire Devonte’ Graham via a sign-and-trade with Charlotte and acquired Tomas Satoransky in the sign-and-trade deal that sent Lonzo Ball to the Bulls, but Jackson would be a great addition to the Pelicans backcourt because of his ability to score.
They need someone who is comfortable having the ball in his hands late in games and a veteran guy who has playoff experience, which is why Jackson makes sense in their backcourt.
The Pelicans are also considered to be a “sleeper team” to sign Jackson, according to Jordan Schultz of ESPN, as GM Trajan Langdon likes him.
Adding another asset to their roster is definitely something the Pelicans could look to do, but they also have Josh Hart as a restricted free agent. Depending on what they do with him and his qualifying offer could be very telling of what the Pelicans have planned the rest of the offseason.

The Pelicans are up to 15 guys on their active roster right now, including second-round pick Herbert Jones and Wenyen Gabriel being on a non-guaranteed deal, but the Pelicans do have the ability to free up a roster spot to bring in Reggie Jackson.
