After playing in Detroit over the course of six different NBA seasons, Reggie Jackson went to the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2019-20 season and his career was hanging in the balance of the Clippers.

Interest in Jackson league-wide had decreased drastically over the years and if he did not perform well in L.A. then Reggie Jackson’s NBA career could come to an end.

After performing well in the NBA Bubble, the Clippers decided to bring Reggie Jackson back for the 2020-21 season on a minimum contract and he outperformed his contract by miles! During the regular season, Jackson averaged 10.7 points, 3.1 assists and shot 43.3% from three-point range, but he made his money in the playoffs.

Jackson averaged 17.8 points and shot 40.8% from three-point range in the postseason for the Clippers and when Kawhi Leonard went down with his ACL injury, Reggie Jackson was the guy to step up in the No. 2 role next to Paul George in Los Angeles’ offense.
