Kevin Love
There have been endless reports on the Cleveland Cavaliers attempting to trade Kevin Love this offseason. Love has been oft-injured in recent years and he no longer fits the long-term plans of the organization.
But what has made a trade difficult for the Cavaliers is the fact that Love is due $60.1 million in the next two seasons. That being said, there are teams that could be interested in the floor-spacing power forward.
Following the selection of Evan Mobley in the 2021 NBA Draft, and the re-signing of Jarrett Allen, Cleveland’s plan is for Mobley and Allen to be their long-term duo in the frontcourt.
In light of that, having Kevin Love just makes things more crowded and it would be a waste for him to remain on the roster if he isn’t starting.

Whether it be via trade or — the worst-case scenario — via a buyout, it would be best for Kevin Love to move on to a new team soon.
