3. Connects At A 40-Percent Clip
The Knicks were one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the NBA during the 2020-21 season. They were third in the league, connecting at 39.2 percent on their 3-pointers. However, it was not high-volume, as they were 21st in 3-point makes and 27th in 3-point attempts.
Those are both statistics that should increase this season. New York has added some more shooting to their roster this offseason, with Kemba Walker being one of them. In his career, Walker is a 36 percent 3-point shooter, but he does it on high volume.
Walker has made at least 3.0 3-pointers per game in four of the last five seasons. In the 2017-18 season, he fell just short, averaging 2.9 makes per game. With the Knicks this season, he will continue that streak.
Walker will make at least 3.0 3-pointers per game this season and do it at at least a 40 percent clip. New York has a ton of talent on their team and he should find himself with some open shots regularly throughout the season.

Julius Randle and RJ Barrett will enjoy having a shooter like Walker in the corners instead of Elfrid Payton, who struggled mightily shooting the ball.
