Lauri Markkanen
The Chicago Bulls have been active in free agency. They landed Lonzo Ball in a sign-and-trade with the New Orleans Pelicans and further upgraded their backcourt by signing Alex Caruso away from the Los Angeles Lakers.
While they have added a lot of outside free agents, they still have their own restricted free agent in Lauri Markkanen. The No. 7 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft was given a qualifying offer, but he will likely move on this offseason.
Markkanen will sign with the Houston Rockets, as the Bulls do not have a true need for him. He proved to be a poor pairing with Nikola Vucevic, who Chicago acquired at the NBA trade deadline.
After the Bulls managed to land DeMar DeRozan without using a sign-and-trade for Markkanen, the options for him to go elsewhere appear to be dwindling. The Minnesota Timberwolves or New Orleans P

With their new core of Zach LaVine, Ball and Vucevic in place, the team will not match the offer sheet Markkanen signs, working out a sign-and-trade if need be.
