San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs haven’t been a desirable destination for free agency for a few years now, but they could be aggressive this offseason.
For the first time in San Antonio’s storied history, they’ve missed the playoffs in back-to-back years. That could cause them to make some changes to the roster, which includes the moves they’ll make in free agency.
This season, the Spurs used DeMar DeRozan in a small-ball power forward role with plenty of success.
DeRozan is likely to cash in on the success he saw this season in free agency, leaving San Antonio to find his replacement.

Given the current makeup of their roster, the Spurs are one of the few teams that could likely offer Bobby Portis a possible starting role next season. Greg Popovich would love to add a player like Portis that will always be motivated whenever he’s in the game.
