Chicago Bulls
Another team that could reunite with Bobby Portis this summer is the Chicago Bulls. Portis was drafted by the Bulls in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft with the 22nd overall pick.
During his time in Chicago, Portis was unable to show the consistency that the Bulls were looking for at the power forward position. Chicago would trade Portis to the Washington Wizards during the 2018-19 season, in which the Arkansas product said he felt ‘blindsided’ by the trade.
Nevertheless, fast forward to now and Portis is still 26 years old and can make a difference on the Bulls.
Chicago could benefit from adding someone like Portis to their front court, especially with Lauri Markkanen expected to depart in free agency.

The Bulls could elect to start Portis alongside Nikola Vucevic or have Thaddeus Young start while Portis carves out a marquee role off of the bench. Either way, Chicago should consider reuniting with Portis in free agency.
