Oklahoma City Thunder: Jarrett Allen

Yes, the Cavaliers have shown that they are interested in bringing back Jarrett Allen for the foreseeable future. But it would be remiss for the Thunder to not at least try to make an offer for the young center. Oklahoma City is building for the long-term and they have a young core of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Darius Bazley, Isaiah Roby, Luguentz Dort, and Aleksej Pokusevski.

What the Thunder are missing is a center that fits their plans of building a contender in the future. Allen would be an ideal choice as someone that can fit the team’s vision right now and for years to come. Upon the trade of Horford and Moses Brown, Oklahoma City desperately needs to sign a center in free agency.

Orlando Magic: Alec Burks

The Orlando Magic were likely surprised to be able to select Jalen Suggs with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Even with Cole Anthony, Markelle Fultz, and R.J. Hampton on the roster, the Magic couldn’t pass up the opportunity to add a player like Suggs.

With Orlando fielding a young roster, they could use some veterans to round out the rest of the rotation. Burks would be an ideal target for the Magic as Terrence Ross’s future with the franchise is up in the air. If Orlando isn’t interested in Burks, then signing a veteran wing player is still a massive need for them.

Philadelphia 76ers: Kyle Lowry

Once again, it almost seems like a done deal that Lowry is going to a member of the Heat in the next few days. While Miami are favorites to land the All-Star guard, the Philadelphia 76ers should do whatever they can to make sure they present an offer that exceeds the one that the Heat are offering.

Ben Simmons could be a potential piece in a Lowry sign-and-trade, giving Joel Embiid a new running mate that can be a threat from outside the arc. Philadelphia seems to be missing a piece or two before they are legitimate title contenders and getting Lowry would make them one of the teams to beat in the Eastern Conference.

Phoenix Suns: Chris Paul

It was a disappointing end to the season for the Suns, losing four consecutive games in the NBA Finals after securing a 2-0 lead over the Bucks. Despite falling short of their ultimate goal, it was a positive sign to see the growth of Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton alongside Paul.

Paul is expected to decline his option with Phoenix in hopes to earn a multi-year deal in free agency. As the Suns hope to return to the NBA Finals next season, re-signing Paul is the main priority for them. Signing him may be a tall task if there are other teams willing to make lucrative offers to the 36-year-old point guard.

Portland Trail Blazers: Evan Fournier

For the time being, the Portland Trail Blazers still have their duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum intact. There have been trade rumors involving Lillard and McCollum, especially with Chauncey Billups being hired as the next head coach in Portland.

If Lillard remains on the Trail Blazers, the team needs to add shooters on the wing to improve the roster for next season. Fournier is an interesting name for Portland to target as he seeks a deal worth around $20 million a season. Also, there’s a chance that the Trail Blazers elect to make a push to re-sign Powell after acquring him via trade during this season’s trade deadline.
