Luka Doncic is a once in a lifetime kind of talent, but the Dallas Mavericks know they need to get their young star some more help this NBA offseason.
Kristaps Porzingis has not been the All-Star he thought he was and while Tim Hardaway Jr. is a key talent they would like to bring back, the Mavs could turn their attention to some bigger names in free agency this offseason.
DeMar DeRozan is a guy who has been linked to the Mavericks for some time now and they could potentially look to bring him in, especially if they are unable to sign Kyle Lowry in free agency, who seems to be trending towards the Miami Heat.
The 4x All-Star has been in San Antonio since the start of the 2018-19 season and has continued to be one of the more productive players in the league, averaging 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists and shooting 50.1% from the floor over the last three seasons.
