1. Miami Heat
The Miami Heat have something up their sleeve for this offseason. They did not have a selection in the 2021 NBA Draft, but you know Pat Riley and company have something planned.
What that plan is, is anyone’s guess at this point.
The Heat are always a popular prediction for players that could be on the move. They can clear space to be big-time players this offseason and chase down the third star to go with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
That something could be a sign-and-trade deal for Kyle Lowry. The Heat picked up the $19.4 million option for Goran Dragic today but declined the $15 million option for Andre Iguodala. Dragic could be used as part of a package to match salaries with Lowry.

The Heat also has two restricted free agents this offseason in Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn. Robinson was one player discussed at the trade deadline in packages for Lowry, could he be on the move this offseason? Nunn is likely to receive an offer too rich for Miami’s blood and will be playing elsewhere in 2021-22.
The Heat will certainly be making deals this offseason. At least two trades will be made by the Heat this offseason as they look to rebuild their roster and avoid another disappointing early playoff exit next season.
