Bradley Beal
Now, let’s lay out a dream scenario for fans of the Dallas Mavericks. Let’s say the Washington Wizards decide to start fresh this offseason after moving on from Scott Brooks as head coach. Bradley Beal is tired of always coming up short in Washington and he asks to be traded this offseason. In this hypothetical scenario, all 29 teams should be extending a trade offer to the Wizards.
Beal has evolved into one of the premier scorers in the NBA, finishing second in scoring this season, only behind Stephen Curry.
At 27 years old, Bradley Beal is entering the prime of his career, and that shouldn’t be wasted playing for a team like the Wizards. Instead, he could be competing for a title alongside Doncic on the Mavericks, forming one of the league’s best duos.
With Russell Westbrook now gone, the writing seems on the wall. Landing Beal in a trade would be a home-run for Mark Cuban and company, and it would likely convince Doncic to remain a member of the organization long-term. In the Western Conference, a duo of Beal and Doncic likely wouldn’t be enough to seize the throne.

However, getting Bradley Beal and Luka Doncic, along with another star or a deep roster could be enough to supplant other teams out West. Just imagine the damage that Doncic and Beal could do together on the offensive end in Rick Carlisle’s offensive system.
