1. Kyle Lowry
The Miami Heat could need a point guard this offseason. Miami currently has zero point guards with guaranteed contracts on the roster. Kendrick Nunn is a restricted free agent and Goran Dragic has a team option.
Even if one of them is brought back, the team will need a point guard. If this is where they want to put their available money this offseason, Kyle Lowry would make for an excellent target.
The Heat pursued Kyle Lowry at the NBA Trade Deadline this year. A deal was not made at the time, as Lowry remained with the Toronto Raptors to finish out the season. That would end up being a blessing in disguise for the Heat, who can now sign him without giving up any of the assets the Raptors were seeking in a trade.
Miami had the 18th ranked offensive rating in the NBA during the regular season and the worst in the postseason. It is a number Lowry would assuredly improve with his excellent playmaking and ability to space the floor; he is a career 36.8 percent shooter in his career on 3-pointers.

Kyle Lowry’s tenacious defense would also fit in perfectly with the Heat Culture, as he would make for a strong backcourt pairing with Jimmy Butler.
