3. Tim Hardaway Jr.
One thing the Miami Heat needs to do this offseason is adding some offensive punch. The team was over-reliant on Jimmy Butler to score and create offense for others. Bam Adebayo’s offensive game is nowhere near as developed as his defense, so adding another bonafide scorer to the group would help.
Tim Haradway Jr. is one player that would fit the bill. Should Miami pursue him, the feeling would be mutual, as Hardaway would reportedly ‘love’ to sign in South Beach. It is an organization he and his family know well as his father, Tim Hardaway Sr. played there for more than five seasons.
While Jr. doesn’t have the same playmaking and passing skills as Sr., he can fill it up. Tim Hardaway Jr. emerged as the Dallas Mavericks’ second most reliable player alongside Luka Doncic, something no one expected to happen when he was traded by the New York Knicks there along with Kristaps Porzingis.
Tim Hardaway Jr. took his 3-point shooting to another level with the Mavericks, knocking down 38.6 percent in his 2.5 seasons there and at least 39.1 percent each of the last two seasons.

That is something Miami could use, as Duncan Robinson was the only true 3-point threat the team had and could leave in free agency this summer.
