Paul Millsap
If the Milwaukee Bucks lose Bobby Portis and P.J. Tucker in free agency, they will be hard-pressed to replace them. Both played key roles in the team’s run to the NBA Finals and will be missed.
One player that would help fill the void would be Paul Millsap. Millsap is a battle-tested veteran with 129 playoff games in his career. He has seen his playing time dip in four consecutive seasons but can still produce when his number is called.
Paul Millsap averaged 9.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks in only 20.8 minutes per game. Playing a reserve role with the Bucks would be perfect for him, as he wouldn’t be relied upon to provide much more than he was with the Denver Nuggets.
At 36-years old, Paul Millsap is likely looking to latch on with a contending team and chase a ring. But, he is not yet an end-of-the-bench veteran.
