Oklahoma City Thunder: Jarrett Allen
What are the Oklahoma City Thunder planning on doing? Sam Presti has accumulated an extensive amount of draft capital for years to come, putting them in a prime position to build a contender in the future. While the Thunder aren’t going to go all-in this summer, getting a center that fits what they need right now and for the long haul would be ideal.
Jarrett Allen is a restricted free agent with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but maybe Oklahoma City is willing to offer more than Cleveland is. Also, the idea of playing for a team that has so many assets to acquire talent in the future could be enticing for the 23-year-old center.
Phoenix Suns: Chris Paul
The Phoenix Suns went from being a team that hasn’t come close to reaching the playoffs in years, to a team that was inches away from a title this season. The major reason why is the trade that sent Chris Paul to the Suns. Paul has been a masterful addition to Phoenix, giving Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, and Deandre Ayton a true floor general to excel with.
There’s no scenario where I see Paul choosing to sign elsewhere this offseason, regardless of what happens in the NBA Finals. On the other hand, I don’t envision the Suns leaving anything to chance when it comes to convincing Paul to return to the organization this summer.
Portland Trail Blazers: Kelly Oubre Jr.
Changes are brewing on the Portland Trail Blazers in the coming months before next season. Another first-round exit has caused the franchise to move on from Terry Stotts, replacing him with Chauncey Billups. Damian Lillard’s future is in the air as it remains to be seen if he’s content with the state of the organization. However, Portland should do whatever it takes to keep Lillard as their franchise cornerstone.

While it wouldn’t be a major splash move, Kelly Oubre Jr. would be a solid signing for the Trail Blazers. Oubre brings an infectious energy on both ends of the floor and he’s improved his shooting in recent years. The versatility that Oubre brings to the table could help solve Portland’s long-standing issue at their forward positions.
