Moses Moody falling to pick No. 14 to the Golden State Warriors
Ahead of the draft, some people were wondering whether or not the Golden State Warriors were going to be making their picks at No. 7 and No. 14.
With their All-Star trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, the Warriors are in win-now mode, so adding more young players to the roster seems counterproductive. Nevertheless, Golden State made Jonathan Kuminga the seventh player taken in the draft.
When it was time for the Warriors to make their selection at No. 14, they lucked out by getting Moses Moody out of Arkansas.
Moody was projected to be a top 10 pick in the draft by many, but multiple teams passed on him, allowing Golden State to get one of the biggest steals of the draft (at least on paper).

While the Warriors should have acquired proven players for their picks, getting a three-and-D player like Moody could give them a much-needed boost off of the bench.
