Washington Wizards Receive: G Spencer Dinwiddie
Brooklyn Nets Receive: F Kyle Kuzma, C Montrezl Harrell

In this deal, the Washington Wizards land their new starting point guard in Spencer Dinwiddie. He will take over for Russell Westbrook, who was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in the biggest trade of the draft day.

The Wizards acquired Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the No. 22 pick in the draft in exchange for Westbrook. Looking to upgrade the roster, even more, the Wizards, in this scenario, flip a majority of that package over to the Brooklyn Nets.

Washington keeps Caldwell-Pope, but the draft rights to Isaiah Jackson are dealt to the Indiana Pacers, with Kuzma and Harrell are on their way to Brooklyn.

The Nets would bolster their shaky depth with two veterans that have plenty of postseason experience in this deal in Kuzma and Harrell.

Getting something is better than nothing in this scenario, as Dinwiddie could sign with a team and the Nets would receive no compensation for his departure.
