Chicago Bulls
Before the NBA trade deadline passed this season, the Chicago Bulls landed Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic. The move was conducted with the idea that pairing Vucevic with Zach LaVine would be enough to make a late-season push to the playoffs.
On the contrary, the Bulls fell short of the postseason, but the team still believes they aren’t as far away from contention as some believe.
LaVine has grown into an All-Star caliber player for the Bulls, Vucevic has been an All-Star caliber player, Coby White is steadily improving, and Patrick Williams has loads of potential moving forward.
What the Bulls are missing is a true point guard that can orchestrate the offense with LaVine and Vucevic. While White started this season, he’d likely be best as a sixth-man next season.

Even though the Bulls want LaVine touching the ball often, having someone that can get him easy baskets would benefit them tremendously. And with LaVine and Ball becoming efficient shooters, both of them can space the floor around Vucevic. Despite what some people may think, a trio of Ball, LaVine, and Vucevic would be fun to watch in Chicago.
