Ben McLemore
You can never have enough shooting and the New York Knicks are a team that doesn’t have much of it on their current roster. Both Julius Randle and RJ Barrett shot lights out from outside this season, but they fizzled out in the postseason.
When teams had time to game plan for New York’s offense, Randle and Barrett didn’t see as many open shots as they did in the regular season. In light of that, the Knicks should look to add some role players that could provide sparks off of the bench.
Ben McLemore was once a player that had lofty expectations coming into the NBA as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. Unfortunately for McLemore, he was selected by the Sacramento Kings, an organization notorious for failing to develop players.
Since his time with the Kings, McLemore has evolved into a streaky shooter off of the bench. In the four years away from Sacramento, McLemore has registered 8.1 points per game and has converted 37.6 percent of his three-point attempts.

If the Knicks are unable to retain either Burks or Bullock, McLemore wouldn’t be an awful signing to replace them.
