Dewayne Dedmon
Let’s assume that the New York Knicks bring back Mitchell Robinson as their starting center next season. Nerlens Noel did a solid job of filling in for Robinson when the young center was sidelined due to an injury again.
With Noel possibly heading elsewhere in free agency, New York will want to address their backup center spot, especially if Robinson is going to be the starter.
While his three-point efficiency has wavered in recent years, Dewayne Dedmon is an underrated backup big in the NBA. Dedmon spent 16 games with the Miami Heat this season, recording 7.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game on 70.8 percent shooting from the field.
It would be ideal for Dedmon to return to being the 38.2 percent three-point shooter he was in 2018-19, but that’ll be tough to replicate.

Even if Dedmon can’t knock down threes at a consistent clip, he can still space the floor and his ability to switch on pick-and-rolls could be useful for the Knicks.
