The Los Angeles Clippers are a championship-caliber team this season and have a really good chance to once again contend in the Western Conference during the 2021-22 season, but they could still look to add that third, key All-Star-like talent to their roster in the offseason.
The Clippers desperately need some backcourt help and Russell is young enough where he could be a part of the Clippers long-term plans should he stay healthy, which is why this would be a good fit.
Next to Kawhi and PG13, Russell could definitely be a much better facilitator than he has been during his now five-year NBA career and could continue being an impactful offensive weapon.
For the T-Wolves, they would not get much value in terms of draft assets from this deal with the Clippers, but Marcus Morris Sr. could definitely make an impact for this young team, as could veteran guard Pat Beverley. Not to mention, Terance Mann is a great young talent that is starting to find his footing in the league.

Beverley and Morris could impact the T-Wolves short-term, but Mann could definitely be an impactful, young role player they look to develop further and utilize for many years to come. There is definitely some value for Minnesota to get out of this trade with the Clippers.
