Indiana Pacers: Picks #13, #54, #60

With a core of Brogdon, LeVert, Warren, Sabonis and Turner all healthy and on the court together the Indiana Pacers could be a really solid team in the Eastern Conference, which is why they are also a team that has shown interest in trading out of their lottery spot. There have been trade talks over the last few weeks between the Pacers and Rockets in a deal that revolves around veteran Eric Gordon.

Moving Gordon and one of their late first-round picks at No. 23 and No. 24 overall for Indiana’s No. 13 pick is definitely a trade we could see on draft night and seems to be gaining more traction. Indiana needs guys who can help them win now, which is why they could be interested in moving this 13th overall pick for a guy like Gordon.

If the Pacers keep said pick, then they will be looking at Corey Kispert, Davion Mitchell, Chris Duarte, Trey Murphy, JT Thor, Alperen Sengun and even guys like Kai Jones or Isaiah Jackson in the frontcourt. Indiana’s options are very vast if they keep this pick and they very much could settle for the best available player before the Warriors pick at 14th overall.

The Pacers really do control how the rest of the draft plays out after their No. 13 pick because of the talent that will be available. Between the Pacers at No. 13 and the Warriors at No. 14, not only could we see teams possibly trade up for both of these picks, but we could see a handful of players that were lottery-projected talents fall to teams picking 15-20.

This No. 13 pick owned by the Pacers is very much available in trade talks, but the Pacers do have interest in keeping a first-round pick. Whether they hold onto their pick or acquire a late first-round pick, the Pacers are going to be an aggressive team on draft night that looks to bring in more experienced talents to their roster.
