Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors are among the likeliest teams to make a move during the 2021 NBA Draft. They have two lottery picks, No. 7 and No. 14 overall. The team is interested in flipping those picks for an established player and will be aiming high.
The Warriors are one of the teams rumored to have an interest in Washington Wizards star shooting guard, Bradley Beal. If they are unable to pull off that blockbuster, it would make some sense for them to add a veteran such as Danilo Gallinari to the mix, possibly using the 14th overall pick as the centerpiece of a deal.
The Atlanta Hawks are reportedly looking to land a draft pick, using one of their players on a rookie scale deal, such as Cam Reddish, to make it happen. The Warriors can help them accomplish that goal by taking on Gallinari as well.
Gallinari would fit into the Warriors’ offensive scheme well coming off the bench. He would provide a much-needed scoring punch to a second unit that was relatively weak, with only Jordan Poole averaging in double-figures. Gallinari is someone that would make opposing defenses pay when they are daring players other than Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to beat them.

Gallinari would help replace some of the production likely to be lost with Kelly Oubre Jr. entering free agency and looking like he will be signing elsewhere.
