Ben Simmons
Count the Toronto Raptors in on the Ben Simmons sweepstakes. During an appearance on Chad Ford’s NBA Big Board, Marc Stein revealed that the Raptors are exploring whether there is a way that they can get Simmons from the Philadelphia 76ers.
After the 76ers suffered another disappointing exit from the playoffs, Ben Simmons rumors quickly flared up. Simmons’ lack of impact offensively was a big reason that Philadelphia failed to advance beyond the second round.
The franchise hasn’t gotten beyond that point since the 2001 NBA Finals, so there is a lot more to their struggles than just Ben Simmons.
While the team has begun shopping him, the asking price is currently very high. Teams have yet to reach what Philadelphia is looking for, but the Raptors might be able to accomplish that by offering the fourth overall selection.

A Kyle Lowry sign-and-trade with the fourth overall pick could be in play. Attaching the fourth overall pick to Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby could be another package that the Raptors put together as well.
