Evan Mobley
Evan Mobley is one of the highest-rated prospects in the 2021 NBA Draft class. He is easily the best big man and should be in the mix for the No. 1 overall pick. If the Toronto Raptors want to make a move up the draft board to ensure they can land the USC star center, the fourth overall pick can be used as a trade chip.
Oklahoma State point guard Cade Cunningham is expected to go No. 1 overall to the Detroit Pistons, while Jalen Green is projected to go second to the Houston Rockets. It is anyone’s guesses what the Cleveland Cavaliers want to do, so trading up one spot with them to guarantee Evan Mobley lands in Toronto could be in play.
Mobley would be a great fit for the Raptors as the center is a position of need this offseason. Aron Baynes has a team option for the 2021-22 season, so he may not be with the team. Chris Boucher is the only other center on the team, so adding a player such as Mobley would make sense.
Evan Mobley recently received high praise, being compared to former Raptors’ great Chris Bosh offensively with the defense of Anthony Davis. That kind of combination would easily result in a superstar player.

Mobley has immense potential and would give Toronto a building block in the frontcourt to go with the ones they already have elsewhere on the roster.
