Does this trade make sense for the San Antonio Spurs?

Pascal Siakam is one of the better players in the league. He has experience in the postseason and has been part of winning teams with the Toronto Raptors. However, the Toronto Raptors could benefit

Siakam seems like a Gregg Popovich player in many ways. The San Antonio Spurs would use his length and ability on both ends to their advantage right away. Adding a player in the center of the offense to serve as a focal point could go a long way in the team’s system.

The Spurs have had trouble winning in the era after Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. That is not surprising considering how difficult it is to win without future Hall of Famers. San Antonio has loaded up on some young talent, especially in the backcourt, but they struggle down low.

Once LaMarcus Aldridge was bought out, the Spurs were paper thin in the frontcourt. This is a problem Siakam could fix right away. He is extremely versatile and can handle multiple positions on either end of the floor.
