Does this trade make sense for the Houston Rockets?

The Houston Rockets completely blew things up this season and a down year was to be expected. They had some strong pieces, including Christian Wood, and they will be able to hold onto him at this deal.

The additional of Lillard is one that can make any team competitive and it would be interesting to see if Houston would get back to being a postseason team.

It all depends on how much the front office values these draft picks. The Rockets landed the second-overall pick in the upcoming draft despite finishing with the worst record in the league. This will give them a chance to draft a prospect such as Evan Mobley or Jalen Green.

If the Rockets believe Lillard is worthy of this pick, they should make the deal. Some have argued that proven commodities are better than draft picks and Lillard is one of the best in the league.
