There will be plenty of talks coming out of Washington this NBA offseason. The Wizards have an elite duo in the backcourt but they could be splitting up at some point. If Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal are on the trading block, the Miami Heat will be involved in some capacity.

Miami has been linked to many big names since last offseason, many of which have come at the point-guard position. The Heat have been looking to improve the top of the offense since last year but have been unable to. That is why Goran Dragic was brought back to have some consistency at the top.

Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are the stars in Miami and Pat Riley could want another at point guard to complete the big three. It was a down year for the Heat so it would not be surprising to see some big things happen.

The Wizards are going to be busy this offseason. They sent John Wall to the Houston Rockets at the beginning of the year and this is how they landed Westbrook.

Moving forward, this is not their long-term plan. Beal could be the first one to request a trade and if this happens, Westbrook will not be far behind. If one goes, they will both be moved. This will land the Wizards the necessary pieces to go into a full rebuild.
