Charlotte Hornest Receive: G/F Ben Simmons
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Terry Rozier, F Miles Bridges, No. 11 pick
Ben Simmons will be the centerpiece of this trade going back to the Charlotte Hornets. He will bring great versatility and will be able to play off the ball in an offense that would include Lonzo Ball and Devonte’ Graham.
This could be the plan that the Hornets have for Ben Simmons to keep him productive will not need him to put the ball in the basket as much. He’d be able to play a more interior oriented role as the screener for LaMelo Ball or Gordon Hayward in a two-man game.
In return, Terry Rozier would be the name going back to the 76ers. He would take over the starring role for a team looking to compete for a championship next season. Philadelphia would also get Miles Bridges and the 11th-overall pick in this 2021 NBA Draft.
Philadelphia would be hoping that Bridges can help to replace the massive void left behind by Simmons in the wing defender department while Rozier would bring change to the half-court offense as an initiator. Meanwhile, the 76ers could add another helpful role player in the 2021 NBA Draft.
