Does this trade make sense for the Utah Jazz?

It would be a bit surprising to see the Utah Jazz make a deal of this caliber after the season they had. Bogdanovic and Joe Ingles have been mentioned in some NBA trade rumors but Utah should be interested in running it back with the same unit that just finished with the best record in the league.

If Bogdanovic is on the block, there will be plenty of interested teams. The Jazz are going to prioritize Mike Conley this offseason. He is entering unrestricted free agency this offseason and could sign with another team.

Conley decided to return to Utah for the final year of his deal last offseason. It will be interesting to see if he makes the same decision and signs another contract.

If Bogdanovic is sent away, this will clear some cap room, as he is owed upwards of $37 million over the next two years. The Jazz are in good shape financially as they have their duo locked up long term in Mitchell and Gobert.

Utah will have to see which deal gives them the best return. Here, they would have a chance to develop Knox a bit and add some draft capital. Bojan Bogdanovic was a major part of the run during the regular season this year and could be used in many ways moving forward.
