Does this trade make sense for the Chicago Bulls?
The Chicago Bulls took a different path than expected at the NBA trade deadline. After being featured in many blockbuster deals for the likes of Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen, the Bulls decided to go in the opposite direction and acquire a big name. This showed a desire to win in an Eastern Conference that is weak near the bottom.
The Bulls did not take that step this season but they are set up well moving forward, especially if they can improve the point-guard position. That is what would be done here. Walker is a score-first point guard that can fit in well at the top of the offense.
He is a legitimate threat that would give Chicago a fourth dynamic player on the offensive end. He has experience playing alongside other stars and could bring a new dynamic to the Bulls.
The Bulls are well-rounded and needs to finish it off in hopes of topping some of the other bottom teams in the Eastern Conference. Coby White is not going to cut it at the point guard position and the team will likely address this. Walker would be an intriguing option.

Bill Donovan is a coach that could help the Bulls get to where they want to be. The front office clearly believes they are close. If they continue to get Donovan some players, they could build a winner sooner than later.
