Does this trade make sense for the Houston Rockets?

The Houston Rockets saw a new regime take over in the front office last year. They wasted no time sending away their big-name players in hopes of gaining assets and retooling the entire organization. The down year was expected when looking at the roster the Rockets were putting out on the floor.

Houston was hoping that it would end with the No. 1 overall pick but they will have to settle for the second selection. They can still add a franchise player that can change the course they are heading. They can also do this by making some more trades.

The Rockets have been aggressive for the past year and that could continue as we creep closer to the offseason. With Houston holding the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Landing another top 10 pick would be an intriguing option to help further solidify the rebuild.

Marvin Bagley III is a big man that came into the league with high hopes but has not been able to reach them in Sacramento. He could be looking for a change of scenery and this could be that change.
