Philadelphia 76ers
For as disappointing as the LA Clippers feel they have been, they got nothing on the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers have been eliminated in the Eastern Conference Semifinals three of the last four years, with a first-round exit mixed in.
People are beginning to get restless in Philadelphia, as The Process is not providing as much playoff success as they had hoped. Ben Simmons’ struggles have been on center stage and the team could look to trade him this offseason, as they have already begun shopping him. Paul George is someone that the 76ers should target in return for Simmons.
George would help solve a lot of the 76ers’ issues. While Simmons is a superior rebounder, their defense is almost on par. Both are All-Defensive team members and get it done on that end of the court. The difference between Simmons’ impact defensively over George is more than evened out by the positive impact George would have on the offense.
Offensively, he would be a monster upgrade for the 76ers over Simmons. George won’t shrink in the biggest moments on offense and is a legitimate three-level scorer. At this point, Simmons won’t even attempt dunks for fear of being fouled and having to shoot free throws.

Adding another scoring option that can get it done in the halfcourt would help push the 76ers closer to winning a title.
