Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors are looking to cash in on another veteran this offseason to add to their core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. They have the assets to make a competitive offer for whoever they deem as the right player to target.
The Warriors have James Wiseman, the No. 2 selection in the 2020 NBA Draft and the No. 7 overall pick, via the Minnesota Timberwolves, in this year’s draft to start any package off with. They have their selection, No. 14 overall, in this year’s draft as well. The only draft pick in the coming years the Warriors do not have is their 2024 selection, which is being conveyed to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Andrew Wiggins could also be included to make contracts work, giving the Warriors some options on the trade front.
Adding a player like Paul George would catapult the Warriors right back to being favorites for the NBA title. It would be similar to their acquisition of Kevin Durant, as George would slide seamlessly into the starting five as a two-way star.

With all three of their core members being at least 31-years old this year, the Warriors know their window of opportunity to win is closing sooner rather than later and George would help them capitalize on it.
