Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard is only a realistic target should he request a trade and the Portland Trail Blazers make him available. Even at that point, an argument can be made about how realistic of a target he is. However, if Stevens is willing to make a big offer, he could be right in the thick of a potential Lillard bidding war.

While Boston doesn’t have the draft capital of teams such as the New York Knicks, they do have an ace in the hole in Jaylen Brown.

The 24-year old All-Star is one of the best players the Trail Blazers will be able to land in a trade for Damian Lillard and would have to seriously consider a package that he is the centerpiece of.

Brown is an excellent defender who is coming into his own offensively. He averaged 24.7 points per game this season as the No. 2 option behind Jayson Tatum. There is potential for him to be a go-to guy given his emerging multi-level scoring arsenal in addition to the stellar defense.

As for Boston, they would fill their need at the point guard position landing Lillard. He would give the team one of the best scoring duos in the NBA with Damian Lillard and Jayson Tatum lighting opposing teams up from all over the court.
