All that is known in the “Bay Area” over the years is winning championships and playing in the NBA Finals, but the last two seasons have not been kind to the Warriors and their fan base. Injuries have taken a toll on the best this team has to offer and even their superstar players have not been able to avoid the “injury bug.”

Klay Thompson has been hit the hardest, as he has not played in a game since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals. Thompson tore his ACL in his left knee in this game and then last offseason, rehabbing from this knee injury, the All-Star shooting guard tore his Achilles tendon in his right leg.

With Klay being out and numerous Warriors players being in and out of the rotation over the years, including the likes of Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, Golden State has not been able to find much success on the court. While they have missed the playoffs for two consecutive years now, all is not that bad for the Warriors because they have been given chances to build for the future.

They drafted James Wiseman second overall last year and they were also able to acquire Andrew Wiggins for D’Angelo Russell at the trade deadline last year. As part of this trade, they were also able to acquire the Timberwolves’ 2021 1st Round pick, which is the 7th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

Who will they look to target though with the first of their two lottery picks this year if they do not trade the picks? Let’s take a look at the Warriors’ Top-4 options with the No. 7 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
