Will Barton recently declined his player option for the 2021-2022 NBA season with the Denver Nuggets, making him an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Despite his notion to decline the option, there are reports that suggest that Barton and the Nuggets have mutual interest in a possible reunion.

With Barton having an opportunity to test the open waters, he could come across a team that he believes is a better fit than Denver.

Barton is a versatile wing player that has the ability to knock down threes, evidenced by his 36.4 percent shooting from deep in his six full seasons with the Nuggets.
