The Denver Nuggets are right on the cusp of being legitimate title contenders. Had point guard Jamal Murray not torn the ACL in his left knee, it could be the Nuggets, not the Phoenix Suns, representing the Western Conference in the NBA Finals.
The roster as currently constructed is very good. They have a solid blend of established players, led by Murray and MVP Nikola Jokic, and younger budding players such as Michael Porter Jr. But, adding one more established piece could be what pushes them to reach that next level.
There aren’t many established players that would push them toward title contention readily available, but one player they could look into acquiring is Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards.
If Beal does not commit to Washington full-time, they will have to seriously consider trading him this offseason or risk losing him for nothing when he hits free agency next summer. This will be something pivotal to watch in trade rumors throughout the 2021-22 NBA calendar year.

The multi-time All-Star is someone that Denver has targeted previously and could look to do so again. He would be an acquisition that would put the Nuggets on the championship track.
