Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic added a second lottery pick in the 2021 NBA Draft at the trade deadline in their trade with the Chicago Bulls. Orlando sent long-time center Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu to Chicago in exchange for Wendell Carter Jr., Otto Porter Jr., the 2021 first-round pick and 2023 first-round pick.
In addition to Vucevic, Orlando also parted ways with former lottery pick Aaron Gordon, signaling the start of a new era and rebuild. While the Magic do have some intriguing young talent, the New York Knicks could offer them two more cracks at building up their roster with the No. 19 and 21 overall picks.
If the Knicks were able to swing a trade for the No. 5 overall pick, they would have a legitimate shot at landing Gonzaga point guard Jalen Suggs. If adding someone such as Obi Toppin along with the two draft picks would give them that opportunity, it is something New York would seriously have to consider.
While Toppin has a lot of potential himself, he is blocked by Julius Randle from receiving the playing time he needs to truly unlock that potential.

As long as Thibodeau, who has shown little interest in playing small, is the head coach, flipping Toppin for another asset to help another area of the roster makes sense.
