Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors are reportedly open for business when it comes to their draft picks. The team has the No. 7 and No. 14 overall selections in the 2021 NBA Draft, but are looking to turn them into an established veteran to help them make a push for another NBA Championship.
The New York Knicks could make a push for the No. 7 overall pick with the multiple draft picks they have. While that may seem backward for the Warriors since they want to move their selections.
However, with their sights set on established veterans, the extra draft capital would help them make a trade for the team’s star player.
While the Knicks are also angling for a blockbuster trade should it present itself, they may be better off staying the course with what they have established. Continuing to build the roster around RJ Barrett and Julius Randle is a smart course of action.

If they were able to move up to the No. 7 spot in the 2021 NBA Draft, New York could find their long-term answer on the wing alongside Barrett as Keon Johnson, Scottie Barnes and Jonathan Kuminga are all projected to be selected in that area.
