Does this trade make sense for the Memphis Grizzlies?

The Memphis Grizzlies have been through their rebuilding phase. Now, it is about putting the right players around Ja Morant and continuing to improve in the Western Conference.

The postseason appearance is something that can get a front office to be aggressive in the offseason. There is a clear need for the Grizzlies to add more talent before they will be able to field a more competitive effort when it comes to a potential playoff run.

The Grizzlies snuck in as the eighth seed and stole a game from the Utah Jazz before being eliminated in five games. The future is bright in Memphis and this is a trade can make it even brighter.

Jerami Grant is a true ‘3-and-D’ player. He uses his length well on the defensive end and took his offensive game to the next level this year. That is something that is going to only grow as he goes into a better situation. This could be crucial to take pressure off Ja Morant.
