Does this trade make sense for the Charlotte Hornets?

Rozier signed a three-year contract worth $58 million back in 2019. Right now, Devonte’ Graham and LaMelo Ball are not making much money so this will clear some space for other players.

Gordon Hayward is another trade option as he is under a large contract. Charlotte could be looking to clear some space in hopes of adding other big-name players.

The Hornets would not be getting much back in this deal. Young is a veteran, short-term option that could fill-in right away but not handcuff the team for the future. Satoransky is a threat from the perimeter and another option that does not come with a high price tag.

This could be the direction that the Hornets want to take this offseason. Ball is the new centerpiece in Charlotte and the front office will attempt to build around him.
