Chicago Bulls Receive: G Terry Rozier
Charlotte Hornets Receive: F Thaddeus Young, G Tomas Satoransky, No. 38 pick and 2022 second-round pick
Terry Rozier made a name for himself with the Boston Celtics and continues to be dynamic for the Charlotte Hornets. Could the team look to capitalize on his trade value during the offseason in order to continue to build around LaMelo Ball long-term?
Rozier is coming off a career-year where he slotted in alongside Gordon Hayward and LaMelo Ball. There may not be a better time than now for the Hornets to capitalize on his trade value. Keep in mind, he will be entering the final year of his current contract.
This would only improve with a player like LaVine next to him in the lineup. Rozier would be the only player going back to the Bulls in this particular deal and that would be plenty.
In return, the Hornets would not get one of the better big men in Chicago but they would get a veteran option to lead the way. Thaddeus Young is a versatile forward that found real success as a small ball five last season for the Bulls. He’d fill a valuable doing the same in Charlotte.
