Worst Fit: Orlando Magic
There are certain teams in the NBA that have made it abundantly clear what their plans are for the future. While the Orlando Magic don’t have a surefire plan, they are trending toward taking a youth-heavy approach to their roster.
After trading Vucevic this season, the Magic now have a young core of Markelle Fultz, Cole Anthony, R.J. Hampton, Jonathan Isaac, and Wendell Carter Jr. With the back court being crowded, Buddy Hield wouldn’t fit within Orlando’s plans for the other guards on the roster.
Orlando does drastically need to add more shooting to their roster this offseason, whether it be through the draft or in free agency.
Trades are also a possibility, but the Magic don’t have many players that they are likely willing to trade, especially with most of them being their young core.

Just by the current makeup of the roster, Hield doesn’t appear to be an ideal fit for the Magic. And if I have to say so myself, I hope for the sake of Hield’s career, he doesn’t go from playing for the Kings to playing for the Magic.
