Best Fit: Philadelphia 76ers

Amid the massive collapse by the Philadelphia 76ers in the playoffs this season, multiple things are for certain. Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid aren’t a duo that can succeed together due to Simmons’ underdeveloped offensive game.

Aside from that, the 76ers need to acquire more shooting for next season, which can partly be attributed to Simmons’ inability to shoot. Seth Curry, Tobias Harris, and Danny Green performed well as Philadelphia’s go-to outside scorers in 2020-2021.

However, Green is a free agent and you can never have enough shooting in today’s league.

It goes without saying that if the 76ers move on from Simmons, they’ll need to get a new point guard. But to make Philadelphia even more lethal, Buddy Hield would be an ideal trade target.

When the 76ers need to throw out a lineup that can score threes in bunches, they can deploy Curry, Green (if they re-sign him), Hield, Harris, and Embiid.
