Good Fit: Los Angeles Lakers

Entering the offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers are primarily focused on allowing LeBron James and Anthony Davis to get one-hundred percent healthy.

Both James and Davis endured injuries this season that was part of the reason why the Lakers had a short stay in the playoffs. Following the team’s quick elimination from the postseason, Los Angeles will be tasked with finding a No. 3 option to pair with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Buddy Hield could be a great addition to the Lakers.

Regardless of where James has played, his teams have performed best when they have reliable shooters waiting on the wing for his pinpoint passes.

Hield has proven to be one of the premier three-point shooters in the NBA and he’d be an obvious upgrade over what Los Angeles currently has at the shooting guard position.

With LeBron James and Anthony Davis garnering the majority of attention from defenses, Hield’s ability to efficiently knock down threes would make it extremely tough for teams to game plan against the Lakers. Acquiring a shooter like Hield and signing a veteran point guard would be a home-run offseason for Los Angeles.
